[San Jose, CA] Head On Collision Leads To The Death Of Galdino Agredando and Maria Jauregui
Red Light Accident Kills San Jose Locals
San Jose, (Sept. 27, 2020) – Police identified the bodies of two residents. Furthermore, they have been identified as Galdino Agredando and Maria Jauregui.
These two people were killed in a car accident. Additionally, the accident occurred around 8:15 A.M. early Sunday morning.
At the outset, the collision happened on Alum Rock Avenue near Alexander Avenue. Also, this area is between the 680 Freeway and North Capitol Avenue.
First, it was reported that a 2007 white work van was heading west on Alum Rock Ave. Then, the van swerved into the wrong lane and ran a red light.
As a result, this led to a collision in the intersection. Consequently, the van struck a 2002 Nissan Maxima. Additionally, the Maxima was heading south on Alexander Ave.
Initially, the high-speed crash instantly killed Mr. Galdino Agredando, age, 43. Also, the second victim’s name was Maria Jauregui, age 52. She died after arriving at the hospital.
Police have taken the driver of the van into custody. They are charging him with suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, and reckless driving. They are asking for anyone that may have been a witness to the accident to please contact them at 408-277-4654 with any information you might have.
